This was an interesting project. The inventors had created a mechanical orb that opened up and then scampered along. The only problem was the retailers weren't buying. I was asked to write story in order to make the orb "come alive." I invented a mad scientist named, Dr. Kraizd, who built a bio-mechanical beast that escaped from the lab.  As the story went only those in possesion of the transmitter would be able to control his escaped beast.
Shell Shocker was born and went on to win the Toy Industry Association's Boy Toy of the Year for 2006.
